On a Chai Note - Black Tea Blend

For everyone who's ever said, "I need more spice in my life," meet 'On a Chai Note'. A classic Masala Chai blend that's unapologetically bold, just like you on a Friday night. Let the rich black tea and heady spices swirl together to create a cuppa that's as fab as your latest Spotify playlist.

Ingredients: Black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, black peppercorns, cloves, coriander, fennel.

Caffeine Level: High

Steeping Instructions: 1 tsp per 8 oz cup. Brew water at 100°C and steep for 3-5 minutes. 

About the Tea: 

"Chai" simply means "tea" in Hindi. So when you're saying "chai tea," you're actually saying "tea tea!" But over the years, in the Western world, the term "chai" has been adopted to mean a specific type of spiced tea. Traditionally, this involves black tea brewed with aromatic spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger, often simmered with milk and sweetened. North Americans and many others have come to love this spicy, comforting brew, but just remember, next time you're tempted to say "chai tea," you're being a tad redundant!
