Leanne Spanza
Born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., Leanne Spanza is a self-taught, local artist that paints landscapes from her travels across British Columbia. She is inspired by the mountains, lakes, oceans, and valleys of our diverse province. Many of her paintings depict the beauty of the Okanagan Valley. Leanne lives in Lake Country, with her husband and two children. She has been noted for her unique style that celebrates bold, colourful landscapes.
Leanne has been the recipient of numerous honours including being selected as one of the top 11 artists to explore and paint the backcountry in Glacier National park for its 125th celebration. In addition, she was selected to return for the 150th anniversary of Canada. Her paintings are featured and appreciated worldwide.
