SONDR was born from the struggle and frustration of finding high quality, functional products that truly stand behind their ethical statements, rather than simply using them as a marketing ploy.
During this struggle, SONDR founder, Michelle, learned not only about animal testing, but about the importance of sustainable, naturally derived and healthy ingredients.
As a wedding planner in BC’s hot Okanagan sun, and a lover of all sweaty sports, she needed a healthy deodorant that could outlast the heat without use of harsh chemicals, animal products or testing, and without causing an itchy, ugly rash.
It seemed impossible to find the deodorant trifecta: ethical, healthy and effective. Out of desperation comes innovation. Enter, SONDR.
