Aboriginal Creeations by Nancy A. Luis

Nancy A. Luis is a Kelowna BC based artist and writer who specializes in uniquely designed and hand-crafted dreamcatchers with her creative woven practice that she created while bringing her art to the level of expertise matched by few others. Not only will Nancy’s artwork impress you, but her written stories will speak to your soul.

Currently, Nancy’s work is on display at the Kelowna Visitors ‘Centre in Kelowna, BC.

In 2024, Nancy’s artwork was featured at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna, BC.

Nancy has participated in many trade shows, such as Craft Culture in the Okanagan and Circle Craft in Vancouver. BC, Squamish Nation Pow Wows in North Vancouver, BC, and many trade shows throughout the year.

In June 2010 and 2012, Nancy creatively contributed two storylines at the Klahowya Village Train Ride in Stanley Park, Vancouver. BC, where she met actors Jack Black and Matt Damon, to whom she sold Spirit of the Eagle.

In February 2010, Nancy was selected from artists across Canada to participate in the Vancouver Winter Olympics Indigenous Artist Program.

During the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Nancy sold many creations and passionately spoke to thousands of visitors from around the globe about the need to find new sustainable ways to live with all creation, allowing all life to equally thrive in a healthy environment.
